Being brand storytellers means leading with values.

Here’s what we’re about:

Supporting women & minorities

In the words of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, “We should all be feminists.” But you knew that already. It’s in the name: Brazen. We believe in taking back language and practices that have been tools of oppression against women, including the networking and opportunities that have long been ole’ boys’ clubs. We believe in a new kind of sales, marketing, and messaging that are welcoming to everyone.

Being anti-racist

It is not enough to not be an outspoken racist. It’s time to commit to being anti-racist. I took the Anti-Racist Small Business Pledge, committing Brazen to acknowledging the omni-presence of racism and white supremacy in our economy and world, engaging in anti-racist education, dealing with conflict transparently and with a community-impact centered approach, and investing a portion of our budget in the Black community.

Taking care of our one planet

I’m taking responsibility for the planet we call home—a beautiful place we’re caretakers of. I believe this planet is only borrowed from our children, not owned, so I donate at least 1% of revenue to environmental causes through OneTreePlanted and Stripe Climate.
